Bargain Beauties

Since beginning this new body transition, I decided to treat myself to some new gear. After all, aren't we more motivated to workout when we have clothes that actually fit and allow us to do so?? I have been rocking the same yoga capris for the last year 1/2, and well, after baby #2 they're as fitting as a nice pair of comfy pajama pants. Which is what they were slowly becoming anyway. Knowing what I know about fitness gear, there were certain places I knew I would avoid given the extreme prices. I didn't just need ONE pair, I need to stock up! And I wasn't about to throw down over $200. So I shopped around little - Target, TJ Maxx, Old Navy, etc. - but ended up at Kohls where I found some pretty decent fits at some seriously low prices.

And let me just say I am more than pleased!

The pants were a gold mine at only $12/pair, and the tops were just $6! With the extra 15% the nice cashier applied for me, I ended up getting everything for just under $45. I'm still mind blown. More so because my husband doesn't deem me worth of bargain shopping, and sadly I have to agree it's not my strong suit. But this!!!! He was very proud. He may even begin feeling better about me + shopping now?! ... not likely.

So there ya have it! Deals and steals.

Christmas In The Spring

So I'm on the look out for three packages  this week and I'll tell ya it feels like Christmas morning the moment the fed ex guy pulls up. "What's it gonna be???"

I would say they aren't anything super spectacular but I am not a liar and 100% consider these on a high status of importance at the moment. You may think it's silly, but hush your face. I hardly get to a good store or to the mall anymore, so online shopping is how it goes down these days. [thumbs up] 

1. New jeans. If you're with the times you'd know Express just had a blowout sale on their jeans [bogo for $30]. And yes, I was suckered in. But! I really did need a pair of jeans - 2? debatable. Finding one available in-store, I wasn't so lucky with the other. So now I'm waiting on these sweet babies to arrive in the mail at anytime! 

2. LC blazer. If you know me, I'm blazer obsessed. Preferably black or charcoal, but I'm trying to open my horizons. So although I'm not sure how often I'll need a tan blazer, I know I'll be grateful when that time comes and I have it conveniently hanging there in my closet. 

Lastly... [drum roll please]

3. The gold iPhone 5s. Am I late on this? Does it matter? It's gold! I'm stoked.

And that, my folks is what's making my week pretty darn exciting. Obviously it doesn't take a lot these days.

I don't get out much.

Something Other Than Basketball

Yesterday while everyone around me was like ...let's go Cards! ...let's go Cats! ... I was all like I just got new shoes. A random venture off to Kohls had me falling in love with these new kicks. For awhile I've been shopping around for a comfy everyday loafer, and a nice casual bootie heel or wedge. And here's what I found!

Went ahead and rocked out my loafs last night, and loved them.

Totally comfortable. Jackpot! Tonight I'm thinking of throwing on the new wedge booties, so we'll see how those do through a night. Love love love. 

On another note, my baby girl comes home TOMORROW!!!!!!
